DESCRIPTION:The Cistercian monastery church in Maulbronn was built between around 1145 and its consecration in 1178 in a\nrapid construction progress\, characterized by an unusually large number of changes of plan. The unique original roof structure\, large Gothic tracery windows and the monumental wooden ridge turret\nfrom 1397 contribute to its high artistic and architectural significance.
