SUMMARY:Inspired by Nature
DESCRIPTION:In this contemporary art exhibition\, visitors encounter two distinct aspects of Ulrike Donié’s work. On the one hand\, there are the large-format paintings. They resemble underwater worlds or reflections; some even bring to mind the “primordial soup” of all life. In contrast\, the installations depict a natural world in which humans have clearly left their mark. Humans have subjugated the Earth and are now confronted with the consequences. To illustrate these profound changes to nature caused by humans\, Donié deliberately uses a man-made material: polyethylene. \n

SUMMARY:Ebrach Music Summer: KLANGKATHEDRALE
DESCRIPTION:SOUND CATHEDRAL\nAnton Bruckner (1824-1896)\nMass No. 1 in D minor\nTe Deum \nMunich Philharmonic Choir\nRehearsal: Andreas Herrmann\nPhilharmonie Festiva\nGerd Schaller\, conductor \nSubject to change without notice. \nThe now legendary and internationally acclaimed Bruckner cycle in Ebrach with the Philharmonie Festiva continues – this time with two monumental choral-symphonic masterpieces by Anton Bruckner. His Mass in D minor once made such a lasting impression on conductor Johann Ritter von Herbeck that he persuaded Bruckner to move to Vienna. The Te Deum\, in turn\, is one of the most impressive musical eulogies of all.\nA truly monumental sound experience awaits you – with a top-class cast: the Munich Philharmonic Choir\, which has already celebrated great success with Bruckner’s Mass in F minor\, Herbeck’s Great Mass\, Goldmark’s opera Merlin and\, most recently\, Haydn’s Creation at the Ebrach Music Summer\, guarantees top musical quality this year too – together with the Philharmonie Festiva and an international ensemble of soloists.\nThe former Ebrach Abbey Church will once again become a cathedral of sound. An experience that you will not only hear\, but feel. Don’t miss out on it. \nTickets at 29 | 39 | 44 | 54 €
