New Cooperative Project: Culinary Heritage:
A new cooperative project is on track: on september 7th LEAD-partner MAS Rozkvět submitted our joint application for the Creative Europe programme. Thank you, Marta Krejčíčková! The main targets of Creative Europe are to give projects a European added value and to strengthen international success by professionalizing stakeholders for the international stage and to further international audiencebuilding. The programme offers ideal conditions for strengthening our Cisterscapes network. It is an opportunity to instigate new projects around our central topic of cultural landcapes. I am very pleased that 11 Cisterscapes partners have joined the application „cistercian culinary heritage“. Starting in June 2022 under the lead of our austrian partner, the Paris-Lodron-University Salzburg (Dr. Michael Brauer), cuisine and table culture of the respective monastic landscapes are to be systematically researched. The results of this research in archives and libraries is to be made available in digital form and in print. With cooking workshops, meetings and a concluding conference in Salzburg there is a wide range of networking activities to look forward to. We will keep you informed as the plans stake shape. Here is the link to Salzburg university’s recipe database with more than 10.000 entries, to whet your appetite: http://gastrosophie.sbg.ac.at/kbforschung/r-datenbank/.
