Kerstin M\u00fcllerperth, born in 1962, comes from the Greiner-Perth glassblowing dynasty in T\u00fcringen and continues the family tradition
\non her own artistic path. Her delicately designed glass – sometimes sober and cool, sometimes Venetian and playful – has won prominent awards
\n. In addition to the highest level of craftsmanship, the art glassblower also needs the right intuition for the material in order to create glass pictures
\nfrom her thoughts. The pictures in the exhibition are based on Wilhelm Hauff’s fairy tale “The Cold Heart”, in which, on the one hand, the helpful little glass man promises redemption
\nand, on the other, the glassworks becomes the epitome of failure. Kerstin M\u00fcllerperth takes us on a fairytale journey into the mystical
\nBlack Forest of the last century with mysterious forest spirits and multi-layered characters. <\/p>\n
