On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the new Zwettl Abbey cycle and pedestrian bridge and the bridge at the Gschwendtm\u00fchle will be officially opened.<\/p>\n

Meeting point: Lindenhof, Zwettl Abbey
\nIntroductory words: Dr. Andreas Gamerith
\nBlessing and opening: Abbot P.<\/abbr> Johannes Maria Szypulski and Mayor LAbg. <\/p>\n

Supporting program: Adventure day in the monastery landscape in Zwettl Abbey
\n10:00 am: “Fam Trips” into the Zwettl monastery landscape – discover the new educational program “Buildings and their secrets”, meeting point: monastery store, duration: approx.<\/abbr> 1.5 hours
\n1:30 pm: Ceremonial bridge opening with agape, meeting point: Lindenhof, walk to the new cycle and pedestrian bridge by the Romanesque bridge, duration: approx.<\/abbr> 30 minutes
\n2:00 pm: Guided hike to bridges & mills in the Zwettl monastery landscape, easy circular hike(approx.<\/abbr> 4 km), duration: approx.<\/abbr> 1 hour
\nParticipation in all program points is free of charge!<\/p>\n

Registration at cisterscapes@zwettl.gv. at <\/abbr>by Thursday, April 2, 2026. Individual program itemscan <\/abbr>be selected for participation. <\/p>\n
