In this contemporary art exhibition, visitors encounter two distinct aspects of Ulrike Doni\u00e9\u2019s work. On the one hand, there are the large-format paintings. They resemble underwater worlds or reflections; some even bring to mind the \u201cprimordial soup\u201d of all life. In contrast, the installations depict a natural world in which humans have clearly left their mark. Humans have subjugated the Earth and are now confronted with the consequences. To illustrate these profound changes to nature caused by humans, Doni\u00e9 deliberately uses a man-made material: polyethylene. <\/p>\n
