Ponds and their pond keepers have a long tradition in the Waldviertel. This is why Waldviertel carp pond farming is now a World Agricultural Heritage Site.

Together with the two pond rangers Irene Lüdemann and Patricia Ernstbrunner, learn more about the tasks of a pond keeper and the tasks of the pond itself for the diversity of animals, plants and the climate.

This workshop is funded by Interreg Austria – Czech Republic in the project “Cisterscapes – VB-Zw-ZnS”.
