On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the new Zwettl Abbey cycle and pedestrian bridge and the bridge at the Gschwendtmühle will be officially opened.

Supporting program: Adventure day in the monastery landscape in Zwettl Abbey
10:00 am: “Fam Trips” into the Zwettl monastery landscape – discover the new educational program “Buildings and their secrets”, meeting point: monastery store, duration: approx. 1.5 hours
1:30 pm: Ceremonial bridge opening with agape, meeting point: Lindenhof, walk to the new cycle and pedestrian bridge by the Romanesque bridge, duration: approx. 30 minutes
2:00 pm: Guided hike to bridges & mills in the Zwettl monastery landscape, easy circular hike(approx. 4 km), duration: approx. 1 hour
Participation in all program points is free of charge!
