Book presentation

The alumni association of the Pforta State School is celebrating its 100th anniversary. A chronicle is being published for the first time to mark the occasion. It sheds light on the eventful history of the association, which was founded in 1926 as a reaction to changes in educational policy, continued to exist during the Nazi era, reorganized itself in West Germany in the 1950s, promoted the founding of the school in Meinerzhagen and has been working for the alma mater an der Saale again since 1990.
