The Mitterhof grange was one of the many farmsteads belonging to the Waldsassen Monastery. An exhibition is now being set up in the former carriage house. On the one hand, it provides a general overview of the significance of granges within the Cistercian Order and how they were managed by lay brothers. It also sheds light on the situation regarding the extensive monastic landscape of the Cistercian Monastery of Waldsassen. Several panels focus specifically on the Mitterhof.
