On June 25, 2026, the Cisterscapes Visitor Center in Zwettl’s Old Town Hall will be officially opened at 5 pm. The curators will give a personal tour of the exhibition, talk about granges and town courtyards and explain the important role that cultural landscapes such as those around Zwettl Abbey played in the history of Europe.

Look forward to an exciting journey of discovery with all your senses through unique monastery landscapes that have been awarded the European Heritage Label. A varied supporting program invites visitors of all ages to join in: puzzles, games and activity stations offer entertainment for the whole family. Guests can sample regional delicacies and fish specialties in the mobile carp kitchen.
