The Hidden Treasure of Zwettl Abbey
27. October um 8:30 - 29. October um 17:00
| €38On your marks, get set, go! Join us in discovering the hidden treasure of the mysterious gardens at Zwettl Abbey! Ancient, rare varieties of apples and pears grow there, which you can sample during a very special tasting. Have you ever tried a sweet apple—one with absolutely no tartness? Together, we’ll press fresh juice, make crispy apple chips, and create our own granola bars. And of course, you’ll get to taste, chop, and experiment to your heart’s content!
The event will take place over two days. Group A will meet on Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. Group B will meet on Wednesday, October 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Thursday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The meeting point for both days is at the entrance to the gym at Stift Zwettl Middle School. The cost for both days is 38 euros, including materials. Please bring an apron, slippers, and a screw-top jar with a capacity of at least 300 ml. To register, contact herbalist Christiane Klinger (Phone: 0664 / 8596817, Email: Send email).
