Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Ebrach (former abbey church) Bamberger Strasse 2, Ebrach, Germany

SOUND CATHEDRAL Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) Mass No. 1 in D minor Te Deum Munich Philharmonic Choir Rehearsal: Andreas Herrmann Philharmonie Festiva Gerd Schaller, conductor Subject to change without notice. The now legendary and internationally acclaimed Bruckner cycle in Ebrach with the Philharmonie Festiva continues - this time with two monumental choral-symphonic masterpieces by Anton Bruckner. His Mass in D minor once made such a lasting impression on conductor Johann Ritter von Herbeck that he persuaded Bruckner to move to Vienna. The Te Deum, in turn, is one of the most impressive musical eulogies of all. A truly monumental sound experience awaits you - with a top-class cast: the Munich Philharmonic Choir, which has already celebrated great success with Bruckner's Mass in F minor, Herbeck's Great Mass, Goldmark's opera Merlin and, most recently, Haydn's Creation at the Ebrach Music Summer, guarantees top musical quality this year too - together with the Philharmonie Festiva and an international ensemble of soloists. The former Ebrach Abbey Church will once again become a cathedral of sound. An experience that you will not only hear, but feel. Don't miss out on it. Tickets at 29 | 39 | 44 | 54 €
