Opening of the CISTERSCAPES Visitor Center in the Old Town Hall Zwettl
from 4.30 pm: Arrival of the guests at the Old Town Hall in Zwettl, welcome aperitif
17.00: Opening ceremony in the passageway of the Old Town Hall, speeches with musical accompaniment and agape
afterwards supporting program:
- Guided tour with the curators through the exhibition in the new visitor center
- Round trip in the carp carriage
- “Fishing up close – right in the middle instead of just being there” – experience with VR glasses
- Activity stations with puzzles, games and escape

approx. 10:15 am: Blessing of the station at the Gschwendtmühle and opening of the bridge at the Gschwendtmühle as part of the foot pilgrimage

10:30 am: Family hike from Edelhof to Zwettl Abbey, meeting point: farm store
11:00 a.m.: Guided tour of the treasury and monastery church, € 12.50

1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Children’s hands-on activities in the Lindenhof
13:30: Opening with special guided tour “The Santini Scandal”, with Andreas Gamerith

Opening of the abbey courtyard and cloister garden in Zwettl Abbey
10:15 a.m.: Festive mass, 70th birthday of Abbot Johannes Maria Szypulski, followed by speeches and congratulations in the church
12.00: ceremonial opening of the newly designed abbey courtyard and cloister garden
ca.12:30: Agape in the Lindenhof at the invitation of the Abbot
